Who we are
Will and Alicia met whilst working together in 2021 and bonded over their love for wine. With over 20 years of combined experience and various wine and sommelier qualifications, we’re passionate about delivering the best experiences and sharing the best wines, whilst having the best time!
William Hyde
Having been immersed in the world of wine since a young age due to parents who were restaurateurs and both sides of the family avid wine collectors, it was inevitable that I would find myself falling in love with the world of wine.
I have been in the wine trade since I joined Oddbins a decade ago in 2014, and since then I have worked in various different wine roles and companies, such as Franklin Wines and Jeroboams.
One thing that has never changed is my enthusiasm and passion for wine tasting events!
Alicia Evans
My love affair with wine began by chance 10 years ago whilst studying art and working in a restaurant, my career did a 180 and suddenly I was working as a Sommelier in some of London’s best restaurants and travelling the world.
Moving away from restaurants, I began working in retail and created an event program, hosting everything from a one day wine school, to wine masterclasses, and premium wine dinners.
I am currently working as a Wine Educator, am a Certified Sommelier and hold the WSET Level 4 Diploma.
